Yeah I want to get a diff motor for it but was gonna use the esky 3900 until then cause it worked in the belt cp good. I was looking at a turnigy plush 40a esc and havnt really researched motors yet just know 3500kv + will do.
I haven't had a moments problems with power in the 3200KV by HDX or the Danlions. A 30a is minimal I'd go. That ESky motor has a 2.3mm shaft, and you should really have full pinion contact to the main gear, it'll rip that main gear to shreads (basically eat the teeth right off the maingear). Thinkin you need 3500KV+....no, the 3200KV like the Danlion and HDX450 can take your head off...they have a LOT of torque and power, Just my .02 worth.
