Rick, I think you have a super idea brewing there! Jay has provided some great info too> How would the camera angle be if you just used the canopy area? Will the nose of the glider cut off the terrain or would it be more forward looking as Jay suggests? The landing gear/webbie holder might just be the ticket if you have the clearance from the tow plane. I'm contemplating one of these webbies myself. I'd like to try it on my B400 but think it would go great with my Decathlon. Vibration may be an issue with the G38 but I'll bet it could be minimized.

Speaking of the Decathlon, I got it flight ready but tomorrow is supposed to be a washout for me. Sunday is a better weather day but I'm thinking the bride and kids have plans for me on Fathers day. I'll get it airborne soon!
