Actually, I have spoken to the powers that be at the Miramar club, and they are supportive of holding a pattern contest there next summer. It is a perfect site. The club will do all the cooking and use the profits for the club. I'm sure that we won't have food that compares to the French, or Argentinian contests. It will probably be done by an old retired Navy Master Chief (not Chef). Hot dogs, beans, and burgers Navy style. Not Haute Cuisine, but pretty good. I hope everyone will come down and fly.
