One thing my friend had in mind is checking the location of the rotation pin of the elevator compared to a Tamjets F-16 which is designed for elevons.

I found that my pin is located 54% from the length of the stab (when measuring from the leading edge) and Tam's is at about 45% - what do you guys think ?
