I can speak from experience with Slash's. They are about as tough as an RC truck can get. They handle well, parts are easy to find and they're tough. I don't own an SC10 and after looking at them I most likely never will. I'm sure they're great race trucks but Iseriously doubt they'd stand up to any real bashing. I do own a B4 buggy and it's great racer but things break often.</p>
