For a second plane for my son I got him a Duraplane Aerobat. This plane is capable of high speed and still has a great degree of stability. It is not the prettiest plane out there but it is still tough enough to handle those rough landings. Speed is something you can have with most airplanes with the change of the prop. So all you have to do is choose one that you like and get used to flying it, then start adding more pitch to the prop until you fill the need, the need for speed.
