I know there is a few engine that work well in this plane but I used an OS 61 2 stroke in all three planes…it flies great!

A funning story...One day at the field I was fling my Corby and the linkage at the throttle came loose (I’ve never us a ball link on the throttle again) at full throttle. So had to fly her full throttle for 20 minutes until it ran out of gas then did dead stick. Everyone at the field had a great laugh. The good part is my confidence level jumped a few points.

I bent the old gear a little on a vise and forced the new gear into the old one, creating a leaf spring. I think I mentioned this in a previous post. Then mounted it to the plane. The gear still bends on hard landing but not as mush. Also I use the old gear for support to bend the gear back if needed.

Not only is it a gas to fly it also helped me improve my flying skills. A few club members said they didn't like that it has such a short moment but little do they know.
Have fun!

Good Luck and Happy Landings

<span style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">Shubova
