Default RE: Flying on 72 or 2.4 ?

I do think that eventually 72 will be phased out, but the difference between the network bands and 72 is that networks are licensed to broadcast on those bands, as we are not and the control of however many thousands of hobbyists flying their models is much harder than the networks. If I flip on my transmitter once the "Switch" is made, what are the ramifications? How easy would it be for the FCC to find me? I think it will be much more difficult to do this switch, but I think it will come too. In the next 2-4 years, the prices will plummet. I can't justify spending $100 for a FASST receiver, that's ridiculous. I will wait until the bugs are mostly worked out of the Turnigy radio out on HC and then slowly make the switch.
