Well, I'm trying to get back into tanks again, and had really considered RCCommand for my tank purchase. I emailed the guy there and he seemed friendly and helpful. However, when I decided I was going to order a tank this week (Panzer IV), I had a similar experience. When I added the tank to my shopping cart, it charged me $15 for shipping. I thought, O.K., that's fine. Then, when I went to paypal, it wanted to charge me shipping again! There was no way around it. So, I again was tempted by the ease of Tower Hobbies and the call of the VS tanks, and I bought another Tiger 1 in winter whitewash. I still want a big tank maybe I will try RCtankwars. It sounds like they will even do custom work.
