AXE_CP in Separates
Hi Guys
It has been awhile since I posted. Hope you are all flying well. I have set up an AXE-CP with separates’, and have encountered some problems. I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I am controlling with an JR 8103 operating at 72MHZ on channel 41.
The separates’ are as follows:
Receiver – JR R-700
Main rotor motor cp standard
Main motor SPEED CONTROL and ESC Electrifly C-25
Tail rotor motor cp v1 standard
Tail motor SPEED CONTROL and ESC Electrifly C-12
Gyro – Futaba GY240 with Dir. set to reverse and AVCS on. The gain is set at 75.
The battery is an Electrifly BP910 with out the added gizmo Heli Max provided with the battery.
I don’t know if I’m supposed to use the gizmo or not so not seems right now.
The Gyro turns on when the tail shifts and the speed is according to the amount of shift. When adding right rudder the trouble starts. The tail motor seems to be operating at one speed only High, and when it’s running I have to give a bit of left rudder to shut the motor down. No proportional control appears to exist. I have the REVO set to zero, and most other setups per Shadow’s post.
I have bypassed the GYRO and connected directly to the receiver and the motor works proportionally.
Anyone know what gives? Thanks in advance.
