Send me a PM, It would be better to send you a CD with the photos than to try and post all them here. I will be at Creve Cour Airport this weekend and will get some better close ups of the mountings. On the ATO, ASO, CSO, CTO, QCF and UBF the lug that the strut mounts to is orientated fore and aft, the strut fits over it and is bolted from the side (span wise). On the YMF, UMF the lugs are bolted to the spar and extend out parallel, the strut end fits between and the bolt is fore and aft.

P1 - 1932 ATO NC 906H (typical on the above mentioned Wacos)
P2 - 1929 JYM NX 8550 (similar)
P3 - !987 Waco Classic YMF NC 14081 (totally differeent mounting at top, bottom similar)
P4 - 1940 QCF NC 12428. The single lug is the strut attachment point, the 2 parallel are for the wires
