Default Useful Links for Blade CX2 Newbies

If it wasn't for this forum, I would have been floundering around with my Blade CX2. Mind you, it has taken a good bit of reading and some queries to dredge out the information I needed. Still the effort people put in to helping others in this venue is unbelievable. Now it is my turn to put something back into this thing. I've collected several good links to information ranging from how to fly to how to fix and how to upgrade. There's a video as well as written detailed explanations on how to fly in here. There's more out there but I know I would have loved to have found this right off the bat. It would have helped me a lot. Here they are:

Learn to fly by the numbers:

Learn to fly video by Mikeys RC

Very helpful guide (by soloboss) on dealing with CX2 problems:

Video of head replacement:

How to break in new brushes or new motors (with new brushes duh):

Flight simulation for free:

http://www.smartpropoplus.com/dnn/ (driver for CX2 Tx connection using audio in port)
http://n.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/index_e.html (FMS site for downloading I downloaded Version 2 Alpha 8.5)
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=850947 (links to CX2 models files (stock and carbon boom)

Look on the bottom of your Tx. There is a minijack there suitable for the 3.5mm stereo jack. Plug it into an audio in

port plus use the smartpropoplus software and some fiddline and voila, you have a simulator for your Tx.

Note that these are .rar compression files which require winrar to uncompress. Don't know why he didn't use winzip.

I downloaded a trial version of winrar and it worked fine. Unfortunately winrar is a trial copy and will expire in a

month. Sigh.
