RE: ENGINE SEALANT
Unfortunately I wasn't able to go buy a tube of RTV...However a test was started by a 3rd person who isn't part of the argument....everything I said is accurate and i explained it later in this thread.... I felt that even if I did these tests the knucklheads in this thread wouldn't have beleived my results anyways..so a unbiased 3rd person is performing the tests.....This person already owns RTV and it saves me from buying a product that I feel is a poor choice for sealing..... LOL it even says right on the package of RTV that it is not fuel proof LOL..hell if it cant withstand gasoline it definitely cannot withstand Nitro......... RTV is not nitro proof, it may work as a sealant, but if any is on the inside of the engine after sealing it is going to soften and contaminate the engine, i see this all the time on engines i am sent to modify... IMHO a person should research who they are arguing with before they open their mouth and make an ass of themself.... RTV is not nitro proof and the 3rd person tests are going to show it clear as day......the beauty is i have nothing to do with the tests so nonbody can claim I rigged the results...
