HA well what do you know, at the field yesterday one of the guys rocks up with his brand new VMAR 540 Edge, it looked (past tense) sweet as, first flight dead stick as it leaves the ground, comes down like a brick and breaks the LG.
second flight. 15 seconds up and the motor cuts again at about 100' altitude, the 540 starts to sink like a brick, drops a wing and goes in to a death spiral. well needles to say the plane is history.

The verdict, if the EDGE looses power get the nose down quick and build up some serious speed before leveling out for a landing, DO NOT try and turn for home as you probably wont make it.

this guy is an experianced builder and flier and has probably 40 planes in his hanger at any 1 time.
