I flew one about a week ago with an O.S. .70...
The airplane is a brick. It has to be over 7 lbs! Wouldn't go vertical with the O.S. .70 and 13x6...The O.S. is heavier than it needs to be, but the airplane itself is just too heavy.
Once up to speed it does fly good though. Very solid flying airplane (you would expect that, it's heavy!!). Inverted flight needed a lot of down elevator (CG probably not right). Rolls were nice and smooth...Loops can be pretty big, but it's easy to gain speed on the downline. It would not hold a Knife Edge...There was no roll or pitch coupling in KE, it just lost altitude.
They are decent at slow speeds for their weight, there is no tip stall. They will fall out of the air pretty good though...
It's a decent flying airplane and a good ARF, but just too heavy. It was a big dissapointment for me...
Thumbs down to VMAR!
