Borzak,
I misunderstood, I thought you were new to the BR area. Turns out you know more about Andy's than I do, especially their move. I will probably have to run over soon on another matter, but I'm sure going to stop in. Also, it seems as though you've received a post from another RCU member with a good word for Andy. "Rcismylife" echoes my sentiments about Andy's, and it's refreshing to hear some positive remarks about an LHS. You should be getting connected soon, if not already. Good flyiing.
My parents have lived in BR forever and I buy my scale boat and scale plastic stuff from Andy's when I visited.
I did however just move to BR so I'm looking for advice/info etc..
The only discouraging thing so far is I visited Andy's yesterday and asked about what local clubs and maybe the name of some instructors. Guy I talked to had no clue. Couldn't name a contact with either of the local clubs and couldn't name but 1 of the 2 local clubs.
Basically he was worthless. I can't beleive someone working in a hobby shop like that would answer "ummm I dunno" and when asked maybe he should ask Andy if he had more info he replied "Nah".
I guess he figures the people that buy trainers etc.. there magically learn how to fly them. Was really disappointing, he acted like it was no big deal at all.
