I have a set of oleo struts coming from the UK for mine & was thinking of using
Du Bro Big wheels ( inflatable type ) as our strip is rock hard, how do you think this set up would be for landings
Graham ?planning on flying the first few with out the wheel pants/covers.
Also doe's she handle the extra weight in the nose ok, as the 170R3 is a heavy monster?.
And lastly C.O.G. did you set it as per the manual ?.
Thanks for the flight report sounds like it 's a nice flyer, it certainly looks the part.
Moving the family back to the city next week then will make a start on her.
