Yeah, I'll agree w/you that your landing skills have to be quite honed to bring in something like the likes of your bird in that small area. I used to fly in Eagan and the [link=http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=eagan+MN&sll= 37.579413,-95.712891&sspn=52.473938,79.013672&ie=UTF8&ll=44.8 33565,-93.191121&spn=0.011656,0.01929&t=h&z=16&layer=c&cb ll=44.833535,-93.19016&panoid=MP0hmDFiv6N4rrDbAXEBXg&cbp=12,163. 54,,0,6.2]Blue Cross Blue Shield "Park"[/link] - it's a huge region next to their MN headquarters. Well, after a few flights of my Piper Cub I realized this wasn't worth it anymore - i needed space. For as much as it might be a pain in the arse to drive to a location to fly I recommend TCRC as they're a great bunch of people. When I joined my club at first it was a few solo days until a good weekend and then i met up with some great flying buddies and now i run into them all the time when I fly.
Eventually you meet a few people, enjoy each others company, and next thing you know ur meeting them up at the field for some fun or you happen to run into them as you have the same flying 'schedule' as they do! If'n the weathers good (and Curtis is nice - HINT HINT!!) I'll see if he can invite me as a guest and I'll make my way down to TCRC this weekend.
