You may know better than I, but in the old catalog I have for John Pond's Plan Service (material now owned by the AMA), there were the MAN plans, and also the Veco kit instructions. Both were listed with a span of 64". My father also had a plane built from one of the kits. It had a wide (constant) chord for the span, as I remember. He liked it.
