Default RE: Thinking about putting a new motor on my savage .25

ORIGINAL: HerrSavage

Mach 427. Cheap, powerful, user-AND-DRIVETRAIN-friendly... Ideal Savage engine.

Also, look for a Sportwerks 26. They are identical to the Mach, more or less(better carb..), but have a pullstart. With the Mach you might need a Losi Spinstart... (which is better than HPI rotostart anyway..) If you get a Mach and want to use a HPI Rotostart, get the backplate for the XTM 24.7.

Sounds like a hassle. But it's worth it..
So then is it true all i need is the losi spinstart shaft? I too bought the Mach 427 and will be installing it in my Savage25
