I think in RC just like in 1:1 boats there is a point where you can only get so much power out of a single. In a 1:1 is a 700 cubic inch big block with a blower on it making 1400 hp. If you want more than that you need a second motor. I think you have more power options here but you still hit the celing at some point. The HPR's are big boats and you need alot of power to puch them. I think anything under 35 inches you'd want to go with a single setup. much bigger and start thinking about 2 motors.
