Default RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

If the low speed jet is not correctly set is there a place you start from. For instance the high speed jet we all start from three full turns and then start closing down until we get the max RPM then open it up a bit to make sure it is not too lean. What is the procedure with how we should approach adjusting the low speed jet.

On the smaller Saito's like an 82 or 72 or 100 start with the low end flush with the plastic throttle arm . That should be way rich . Remeber that both high end and low end work together . If you make an adjustment to the low end go back and do the top end . Make another adjustment to the low end you redo the top end again . When you can idle forever and pound the throttle with no hessitation your 3D worthy .
