Default RE: FOX COMPOSITES Bae HAWK, Build thread

ORIGINAL: digitech
can you guys tell me :

is it rail mounted or firewall mounted?
oleo size from pickup to axle centre from mains and front?
we do have some sets that could fit.
Hi Sandor

Pic 1 is noseleg length (120mm) from base of retract block to wheel axle on mine. Nosegear is Robart 517 105deg. Wheel dia is now 50mm.

Pic 2 shows Robart steering arm, which is separate from leg.

Pic 3 shows that piston is directly linked to swinging arm, resulting in binding at ends of travel. An intermediate link is needed.

Pic 4 shows length of mains from base of retract block to wheel axle. Retract unit is Robart 510 90deg.

Pic 5 shows inboard side of cut-off wheel yoke.

Pic 6 shows outboard side of wheel. Main wheels are now 65mm Eurokit.

Hope this helps

Gordon

Edit: I had brain fade with original Pic 1. I've now amended the length to its proper 120mm!
