I also didn't won't to cut the cowl, so I gave up on some speed to keep the looks of the boat. I might decide to cut later, but boat is running great. So for now I will leave it alone. You will like the way the boat runs, I have had to make a few small strut adjustment, and have tried several props. The one I am currently running is an X670 that I got from andy brown years ago. I tried the 2716 after rounding tips, wasn't bad, but the 670 seems better IMO.
