Default RE: New Firestorm 10t having some issues

Yes, it sounds as if the trim on the throttle is set so tight the carb is actually closed. Take off air cleaner and verify the positions of throttle barrel at different throttle settings. (full half quarter) When WFO it should be exactly that WFO! Half is half and so on till you let go off trigger, at this point you'll see throttle slightly open, 1-2mm. Id even be happy with 3-5 mm open. Dont try to make adjustments to ANYTHING without the motor being warmed up. Did you buy a temp checker? If not get one. Warm motor up then make your adjustments. You should NOT have to mess with low speed. Leave it in stock position. (flush) I see more and more people get themselves into trouble trying to tune a motor by messing with low speed. Get all others straightened out before messing with low speed. Again, YOU SHOULD NOT NEED TO. Good luck and if you have any more questions ring us up.
