One thing I like about the Hitec is the telemetry, I do think that in the next few years, everyone will have some type of 2 way communication with the receiver. I also like the idea of being able to use bind and fly, but I also know that I would not want to just have one transmitter, in case I damage it (I tend to be a clutez). The Sd10 looks like a great radio at a good price, and Futabe has a very good track record. Maybe I will buy an spectrum and a hitec, that way I can have bind and fly with the small planes that I may want and a little more powerfull system for the larger planes that I want to get in the future.
