Default RE: Should RCU have a separate Motors, Batteries and Controllers Forum?

ORIGINAL: Druss
Having a specific place to ask about electric motors and escs does not change that, it just gives a specific forum in which to discuss it and makes it easier for new drivers to maybe find the answer to their own motor/esc question instead of having to scroll through multiple pages of topics that they're not interested in.
But will it be the right or proper answer? Having to work a little harder but get an answer that is right is better than being able to easily get an answer that is flawed, improper, or just plain wrong. Maybe what more needs to be done is to call the forum something along the lines of "Electric drive system" which is inclusive rather than an 'A, B, and C' type name that sounds more exclusive. On-topic discussion would be that-and-anything-pertaining-to-that, including the specific vehicle it's in, the transmission, tires, and so on, as necessary. Then the rest of the stuff, like the 'which truck should I buy' threads would still belong in the electric forum.
