Walbro Questions
With my soon to be venture into large scale gas engines and planes, I have read and read the net and found a wealth of information on Conversions, Poulan, Echo, Ignitions, and every thing else you need to know except........Walbro Carbs. It just seems to me that there is a black hole of Walbro Black Magic hidden that I haven't found. One website I read seems they put the WT-540 on a G-38, G26, and several other engines, but it is no longer made, see the 610 oops it's now a 834, yet last night I saw where a 547 is a replacement for the 540 and they are cheap on ebay(Genuine Walbro)
Is there some sort of application chart out there where I could access that I can make my own carb decisions?
I just got a SUPER deal on 2 G-38s(Old Style) and both engines will be run in a cowl, I think I need to replace the carb for one with a choke.
Shucks, I want to do a conversion engine just because it looks fun and would give me another sense of accomplishment besides my love of model building (do people still do that).
This stuff must be closely held in confidence??? hahahaha
