RE: my 500 esp is here
My build progress. The head assembly is done. The frame is ready for electronics. Now, I have to learn the DX7 so I can do the servos, head setup, and ESC programming (what are the defaults, btw?). So, this is a good holding point. The biggest "pain" so far? Sanding the edges of everything in the frame.
Electronics wise, I think I'm going to use the stock ESC for a bit to see how I like it. Imust admit I've become a bit spoiled in programming by using a Castle Phoenix 60. Ihave another one that if I don't like the stock ESC, I'll just pull the one out of my BH500 (it has a BEC) and use that in the TRex 500 esp and put the spare Castle in the BH500. That's really looking forward, though.
So, it's all good so far.
