Also...be careful flying outside. The CX3 has a habit of dropping like a brick when making a maximum stick banked turn. But, you should have no problems if you make smooth rounded turns. Also, in any kind of wind...keep it low to the ground because the wind will take it for a ride.
So I'm not the only one who has noticed this. Like you, I also fly a fully converted CX3. I now call mine a "Sonny Bird". What I found helps a bit is to back off the stick just a bit as it comes out of the turn and add throttle to keep the altitude. I am flying mine outside every day now. I normally knock off about four battery packs.For me the trick is to do it in the early morning while the air is very still. On bad air days, its off to the gym.
