Default RE: Ultra Lightning at last!

You are not the only one my friend that has so many problems with CARF. I have had many many problems with them in the past year or so.

I have made a deposit of 500 Euros to buy a Classic Lightning in January 2009. Then on March they discovered that they have not processed my order. After many many emails they discovered that our original agreement for the price was not enough and they asked for extra money (this was after 4 planes that I've bought from them in 2 years). Of course I did not agree.

After many many more emails they sent me a plane from Australia in May (5 months after my original order!!). The plane that arrived to me was not delivered to my house as per their quote but I had to go and pick it up from the Airport. I had to pay for the truck extra for that freight. Then I discovered that the model was 3 years old and had some dents on the wings and also there was a part missing.

For all this I was communicating directly with the factory (not through a rep). At the end they stop answering me.

I have so many other things that happened to me with these guys it will take pages to list. This is just my latest happenings. Be careful when you get the wheels that it is the new compound otherwise they will leave the rims and they will ofcourse deny liability. And if your plane crashes when it has no wheels to land on (like it also happened to me) they will also deny liability and only ask for more money to compensate you.

But why don't they answer in emails???

I wonder how much money does one have to pay them in order to repsect the customer??

Once you built the plane it flies well although the instructions are not as good as BVM so it may take you a bit longer.

Anyway good luck with CARF
