Default RE: Sig Somethin Extra CG

OK. I spoke too soon. I had it balanced nice "on the table" but maidened this weekend and had the following observations:

1. Level flight when trimmed and at medium throttle. However, at full throttle, it REALLY wanted to climb at a high rate.
2. When landing on still air conditions, floated in nice. With 10-15 mph head wind, it really wanted to stay nose up and not come down.
3. When flying inverted, it took a lot more down elevator than I thought a mid-wing (no di-hedral and symetric foil) would take.

Suggestions at the field were:

* CG too tail heavy (Observation #1 and 2)
or
* Thrust line for engine is too high; add some washers to top to lower thrust line (Observation #1 and 3)

Suggestions based on above observations?

If it is balanced tail heavy, shouldn't inverted also climb?
