I'd ask around about Expresscraft boats as what I've seen, they need some work done on the hulls as opposed to Aeromarine or WHH boats.
I picked up a Lazer 45 earlier this year and it's only been in the water a couple of times. It seems to be more of a rough water boat as it is running really wet in the normally calm stuff that I run in. I'm getting ready to move the CG further back to get mine a little looser.
