Default hitec 225 nylon vs metal gears

Mike, I have seen a couple of posts that indicate that the metal gear version of the 225 develops some "slop" after a period of time, whereas the nylon gear version does not. Do you have any experience with this happening? Also, in terms of precision, is the metal gear 225 more or less precise than the nylon gear version.

I use hitec nylon gear servos exclusively and am trying to determine if I should move up to the metal gear versions.

Thanks for being part of this forum.
