Default RE: Deep V hull help

My friend also has a WHH super sport, which has the same hull as the team pro just a different deck. The hull is built just as well as any of the WHH hulls, and handles very well if you keep it in it's speed range. It can get pretty flighty once you start getting close to 45mph. Some have pushed it over 50mph, but handling and predictability is reduced. If your going to be playing in relatively calm water than the team pro is a better choice, but it can still handle a nice chop especially with Tony's dual rudder setup. A stock motor with a pipe should have it just over 40mph as well. It is a very fun boat to drive, but it won't do so well in 6" chop. You also can not beat the customer service you will get from WHH, Tony is always happy to help you out and answer all your questions no matter how stupid they are. For a beginner, I really think you should stick to nothing but WHH boats until you really get a good understanding of all aspects of RC boating.
