I'm trying to convince myself I need another plane.
I always thought that it was the other way around, that RC Pilots needed to convince themselves that they do not need another plane.

I've always failed unfortunately!

Busted! Me too. You figgered me out bro. Honestly, I'm not afraid to fly the 4*. I cant WAIT!~ Yall are supposed to support me in buying another plane! My buds keep telling me that I should be flying the SSE and not "Those Trainers" lol I dont know what happened with me. I crashed a PT 20 about 15 years ago and about 8 years ago I was flying Pico Sticks with no problem. I just got back into planes a few months ago and am allready bored with the LT-40. Its fat, heavy, doesnt respond and hates the wind. A couple of guys have told me they have never seen anybody learn as fast as I have before. I think its because of racing RC cars for 17 years and learned ability of "Feeling" motion and hand eye coordination. The only difference between cars and planes are gimbles and crashing planes does more damage.

The 4* will be my second plane. This will be one I will not push the limits on though. This will be my old man cruiser with a great big scarey Saito 100 GK covered in jet white and metallic blue. Itll be my Harley Davidson so to speak.

Allthough my buds think Im ready for the SSE, I do NOT want to be over confident. I dont want to spend a 100 plus hours building it just to ground loop it into assfalt hell. Thats why I wanna an intermediate ARF to push the limits with. With the engines I have, I dont have many choices without going with another trainer. I could pull the magnum .52 fs out of the LT-40 and put into something else, but I really dont want to. Thats a really good plane/motor combo I wanna keep. I have a .30 OS fs and I cant find a plane I like for it. The Eaglet 50 built up too heavy for it and had a very rough landing. lol

That leaves me a ST .90. The Big Stik seems to be a gentle plane I should have no problem handling after I get one my freinds to take it up for me and trim it out, set the expo etc. Ill eventually have to take some chances and I would much rather crash the Big Stik than my Harley Davidson. Lets face, we all crash sooner or later except that one dude. [X(]

I know theres alot of other plane choices out there that may fit my bill, but heres the deal.

I'm ordering an ARF tomarrow to fit one of my motors. This weeks check was a tad small since I didnt work any over time working on my 4*. I dont have a extra couple of huns laying around and I cant save a dime. Im compulsive and I want everything here, and right now! Tower has the easy pay option and if I order tomarrow, I could have Big Stik here within 5 days and ready to go in another week or two.

One more thing. A bud of mine is a very good pilot but cant even build an ARF. He wouldnt even be flying unless I built and sold him my Herr little something extra. I have a feeling after he maidens the Big Stik, he will want it! And I can make some extra cash while keeping another pilot in the hobby!

Feel me?

Thanks guys.
