well i have a spad that has had a magnum .91 4 stroke, gms.47, ax55 and magnum .40gpa on it.
all of those engines have gone to other planes. i am looking for a .40-.55 sized engine and i was just wondering which one would you concider the best
i like the gms.47 a lot, both of the magnums have never deadsticked on me, and the ax 55 is a pain in the rear to tuned right (just breaking in)
the only criteria, keep it cheap. the plane is tail heavy so a little nose weight wont hurt, i usually run it below half throttle (just putting around)
i was thinking of the ST gs-40 or maybe a ..... i just dont know so many good choices
i wouldnt be opposed to a used engine if someone has a (or a few) old 40 sized engine in a box they dont want ill buy it from them, ill replace bearings/clean them and what not, pm me if you want to sell me one
