If you've got the tires that Freeqeunsee suggested, then try doing this. If you are on a smooth surface just get to a high enough speed, just turn, but if you are on asphalt, you need to go to a wide area, then you need to keep your car at an even pace, so that when you turn, you just need to hold the accelorator. that is how it works on some of my friends cars.

to start of set up one cone/dot/can of soda/your lil sister and focus on drifting around it in wide circles, and as you get the feel for it start to make the circle tighter and tighter, In order to hold the angle you will have control it with throttle input and counter steering. then once u get the hang of this move onto 2 cones and do figure 8's then onto a real track
