dash......if he learns expo now, flying an airplane that really doesn't need it.....then he either has to unlearn expo later, or he will always have expo....what's the trouble with that? A couple of things come to mind, you can't fly a friends airplane and either save it or trim it......and you can't teach a newbie.....every airplane will seem too sensitive on the sticks....The goal here should be to be the best pilot possible....that means learning to fly with your thumbs......not because it is easy but because it is hard.....but you will be better for it
