I Done It! I broke that horse or I mean plane to lead tonight. I had the airleons set to 5/8" and left everything else set as per manual. I tried to set some expo this morning but couldn't really get it figured out. I got the slower movement but didn"t know how slow to make it. After fooling around a while decided I better just quit before I run the batteries down and wouldn't be charged enough to fly tonight. Besides with just 5/8" didn't really figure I needed expo. As I was filling the tank and getting everything checked and ready I was pretty nervous. Thinking man Do I Really Want To Do This, Do I Really Want To Do This, Do I Really Want To Do This. Fired her up, one run down the runway to build up my courage, brought her around, lined her up, gave her some throttle and away she went just like she was supposed to. No problem what so ever. After I got some altitude and stopped shaking all she took was 3 clicks of elevator and it was trimmed. She makes a great second plane as long as it is tamed down a little. Didn't do anything fancy, just getting used to it. It will do a heck of a tight circle, makes my trainer look like a big lumbering ox. As I get more comfortable with it I will start moving my linkage back out one hole at a time. The manual says the throws are supposed to be 1" for low side. So the lesson learned tonight is just because the book says so doesn't make it the only alternative. I suppose there are a lot of college proffessors out there that would disagree with that though.

So now I have two flying planes in my hanger. Yiippee
Oh and jester I belong to a one member club. Not much good advice floating around the pit area, but the skies are wide open for flying.
Thanks everyone for advice and tips.
