Default Kraft radio,receiver and servos

I got this radio from a friend and neither of us know anything about it.The radio is a Kraft Sport Series with F.C.C. Tx Data KPT and 6A engraved on the plate on the bottom .It also has a serial number of 06447.It is in good shape, but probably the battery is shot. What is the toggle switch and slide switch on the top for?I also have a receiver and two servos which didn't come with the radio, but were in an old boat I bought. The receiver has Kraft Series Sevent-two on it and has seven ports. The servos are Kraft KPS-20H and KPS-24.Would this radio be usable and where could I get it checked out or fixed?Would the receiver and servos be usable with it?
