I began to pull my plane apart this week to put in Canisters and recalled some comments from the DL100 thread that indicated quite a few cracked hubs. I looked at mine and sure enough its cracked from the back all the way forward to the bottom edge of the prop bolt threads.

I just emailed Bob at DL USA where I purchased it last November. I hope it will be repaired under warranty. Never abused and have only ever had 2 props on it with nary a nick.

May also consider buying the DLE 111. How noticable is the power difference between the 111 and the 100? My DL 100 turns a Mejlick CF 28 X 10 at 6300.
