Default RE: DL 100 - New Twin on the Block!!

My experience so far with a new 111 is that it has more torque than the 100 and seems better balanced. I did not notice much, if any, airframe vibration with the 111 like I did with the 100. Same plane btw.

I haven't weighed it but it might weigh a little more since it has more mass. The reason I mention that is because my hovers were way off, sorta like the plane might have gained some nose weight. Where all that comes into play is in how the plane pulled out of a hover. Better than it did with the 100. Vertical performance is unlimited on a 25-1/2 pound plane. The front hub is solid and drilled in the same pattern bot not in the same clock positions as the 100. This means no more cracked hubs.

If you've been running a DL 100 and want to change to a 111 the process is a straight swap. The front to back dimensions are the same, the mounting bolt patterns are the same, and the carb is in exactly the same position as with the 100 so there are no throttle linkage or trim changes to consider. They made it too easy
