Default RE: AMA Question

Keep in mind that the $29 Park Pilot membership has restrictions:Low, Slow, and No Glow
( below 200', under 2lb & 60mph, and no internal combustion engines)

First you need to decide if your flying will fit the requirements for Park Pilot Program,
because if you dont want to be in PPP then that should tell you which membership to choose.

If you decide your flying will fit the PPP,
then you can contact the local AMA chartered clubs and see if they accept PPP.
AMA hq has left it up to each local club to allow PPP or not, so it may or may not be a problem finding a local club that accepts PPPs.... but it is likely you wont have a problem with the local club not letting in PPPs. My club didnt have a problem when I dropped down from $58 Open to $29 PPP..
