Very interesting. Last week I switched my Extra JR switch "on" and nothing. Switched it back and forth, on/off and it came on. On the way back from the field I went to my LHS and bought a new JR switch - because 10 years ago I had an intermittent Futaba switch that resulted in a few crashes until I figured out what was going on. Anyway, I just tossed the JR switch that was acting up. I've done some circuit board design/manufacturing and even though I've flown with my own soldering in a Futaba radio, a bad switch gets the garbage can. But kudos to you for taking the time to fix it.

Moral of the story is, switches go bad.
