Default Comments on Engine/Muffler Installation

Here are some photos of a BME105 install in a Lanier 31% staud. The mufflers are my own design. Everything is a tight fit. please look and comment. I just don't want this to explode in a ball of fire on the first pass!! The cans JUST fit between the motor box sidewalls. I've got 1 inch diameter holes on each side of the motor box above the C/L of the cans, and also in the firewall above&between the cans. The side holes have "scoops" and I plan on putting a "wedge" on the leading edge of the exhaust hole in the fuse bottom behind the landing gear to create a "suction" through the pipe channel. I've lined the entire channel with aluminum duct tape and the top of the channel is actually .020 aluminum sheet. The front 60% of the cans are exposed in the cowl area and will have lots of airflow over it. Will this be adequate cooling? I had to BUILD IN the pipes, since the geometry of the tight installation would not allow them to be removable. Also, the connection between the cans and the headers was SO TIGHT that I'm only using one "constant force" spring clamp over the joint. There's no where for anything to move, so I'm hoping it will all stay put.
