That plane uses a brushed motor with a LiPo battery.

For longevity you want to break in the brushes.

Charge the battery and run the motor at about 50% until the battery runs to cut-off.

Repeat.

Then do it again, incrementing the throttle about 15% for each run until you get to 100% ( however only run the plane at 90-100% for less than 30 seconds at a time on the ground... ).

This should wear the brushes in approprately.

Remember to get it trimmed out by an experienced flyer.
