My CMP Bf-109 flew well at WARBIRDS OVER IOWA held at my local club field. The weight of the 109 was helpful as winds gusted to over 20mph. Even with the wind I used flaps to land or the 109 would refuse to slow for landing. The Sierra gear looks small, but it sure absorbs the landings without complaint.
