Definatly not something I'd try. I guess their safety standards are a little different.
On another note I was surprized at first on the carb set up as well. But when you think about the target this engine is designed for it needs to be very short to fit into allot of the 120 size planes. At least going with a side carb/rear induction it isn't as wide as it would have been it they had put the reeds on the side of the crank like some engines.
They could have put carb and reeds in rear of engine, but the way it is done allows a lot bigger/better designed reed valve to be used. That was the idea I think. Capt,n
