The thread mentioned is good but as a brand new pilot I'd start simple then add from there.
You can find several field boxes available or make your own. a tackle box can also work good. I personally use a stacking plastic tool box.
Make sure you have some basic hand tools: screwdrivers, allen wrenches, crescent wrench, plyers, glow plug wrench, etc. Maybe look the plane over so you know what types of tools and in what sizes you will need.
I'd also toss in a couple extra props, some packing tape for covering repairs, maybe some CA glue, extra rubber bands, a little bit of fuel line and other simple stuff.
You'll see what others take to the field and get some idea from that also.
As you get into the hobby more you can taylor your supplies to your liking. You may find that you like just taking the minimum amount of stuff to fly or you may decide you like hauling around a full shop's worth of tools and materials so you can tackle anything that comes up.
